Ashwaubenon Drops First Game in Conference

Ashwaubenon took the opening
kickoff 84 yards for a touchdown, and with a defense that had given up just 12
points in 5 games including 3 shutouts, you thought that might be enough to
win. But not on this night. The Pulaski Red Raiders
pour 35 points on the Jags and handed them their first loss of the season.
The Raiders reeled off 21 straight points, before the
Jaguars took to the air to mount a comeback. Ashwaubenon
QB Adam Michalski, who threw for 324 yards and 2 TDs
and also ran for two more scores, brought the Jaguars back and took a 4th
quarter lead 34-28.
Pulaski QB Race Noeldner lead the
Raiders down the field late in the 4th quarter and called his own number on a 5
yard TD run with 38 seconds left in the game.
class=GramE>Noeldner who rushed for 94 yards and passed for 126
yards, also scored 4 TDs, including a 54 yard interception return in the 2nd
quarter.
Pulasi (3-3,3-2)
is now firmly in the playoff hunt as they host Notre Dame next week in what
should be another great game. The
style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Jaguars (5-1,4-1) are still in
the conference title hunt as they host undeafed Bay
Port next week.
Green Bay Southwest 8

The Southwest defense that had been so tough all season had
no answer for conference leading rusher David Ihlenfedlt.
The Notre Dame RB rushed for 226 yards and 2 TDs as the Tritons jumped out to a
16-0 lead, and won 22-8. Trojan QB Justin Malloy threw for 177 yards, but
completed less than fifty percent of his passes and threw 2 picks. Jordan

75 yards to seal the win for the Tritons. Notre Dame (3-3,3-2)
will travel to Pulaski next week. Southwest (4-2,3-2)
will host Green Bay West.

class=SpellE>Zac Thelen threw for 188 yards
and 2 TDs, and also ran for 2 TDs, while FB Alex Peterson ran for 131 yards and
1 TD. West QB Tyler Mosupye threw for 165 yards and a
TD. West took a brief 6-0 lead in the 1st quarter on a blown coverage before
the Pirates put it on the Wildcats. Bay Port (6-0, 5-0) will travel to
class=SpellE>Ashwaubenon in a huge matchup to help decide the conference
race next week. West (1-5, 1-4) will travel to Southwest.
Green Bay East 14
Manitowoc 48
The Ships jumped all over the Red Devils on their homecoming
to keep pace with undefeated Bay Port. Manty QB Eric
Hoffman threw for 132 yards and 2 TDs. The Ships outgained East 468 to 200 in
yardage. Manitowoc (6-0, 5-0) travels to take on Sheboygan South next week.
East (0-6, 0-5) will host Sheboygan North.
Green Bay Preble 16

QB Derek Van Calligan passed for
138 yards and ran for a score for North. Tony Levina
scored what appeared to be the game tying touchdown for the Hornets, but the
extra point hit the left upright with 3 and half minutes to play. With the win
the Golden Raiders keep their playoff hopes alive, while Preble was eliminated
with the loss. North (2-4, 2-3) will travel to Green Bay East next week, while
Preble (0-6,0-5) will host Depere.
Sheboygan South 27

Depere QB Alex Griepentrog
threw for 2 TDs and rushed for 2 scores as Depere
jumped out to a 41 to 12 lead. South QB Jake Risse
both rushed and threw for scores. Depere (4-2, 3-2)
travels to Green Bay Preble next week, and South (2-4, 2-3) hosts Manitowoc.
