Coach: Boundary linebacker the likely destination for Mason Platter
Some schools liked Mason Platter as defensive end while others thought the 6-foot-5, 220-pound junior could even play tight end at the next level.
But Wisconsin, which landed Platter's commitment Monday, viewed the Menomonie (WI) standout at boundary linebacker in its 3-4 scheme, a projection that best fits his skill-set, according to longtime Mustangs head coach Joe LaBuda.
