Kimberlys Schreiber voted WBCA player of year
Kimberly junior Scott Schreiber has been named the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association's player of the year in spring baseball, also joining Eau Claire Memorial's Jacob Sparger as first-team pitchers on the All-State team.
Schreiber was a unanimous all-Fox Valley Association selection after compiling a 10-0 record and 0.86 earned-run average for the conference champion Papermakers. The junior was an honorable mention infielder as a sophomore.

Meanwhile, Sparger, a Louisville recruit, fashioned a 7-0 record and miniscule 0.27 ERA for the Old Abes after the right-hander also received honorable mention status from the WBCA last spring.
